MIND WANDERINGS

Be the 10%
In life, most of us focus on the obstacles in our path rather than the goals we once aspired to achieve.
This constant focus on barriers rather than opportunities often limits our potential and keeps us from getting closer to the life we want.
I truly believe that 90% of people see what prevents them from getting what they want, instead of focusing on what they need to do.
"The job pays too low—my effort will be equal to the wage I’m getting per hour. It’s not worth the extra effort. If I had a better paying job...well, then I would go 100%. I definitely would."
"I need to lose some weight. I'm not feeling comfortable in my body anymore. But...I don’t have time for physical activity, I don’t have time to research proper eating habits. I have family, I have kids...well, I guess it is what it is for now."
"I always wanted to learn how to (you name it). But again, no time, family commitments, long hours at work—not going to happen. The list goes on. That’s how 90% of us see life most of the time."
The 90% of us often find ourselves paralyzed by fear and doubt. We see challenges as unbreakable barriers and allow these perceptions to dictate our actions. This focus on the negative always leads to stagnation where dreams remain unfulfilled.
To break free from this cycle, we must cultivate a growth mindset.
This is not easy. This is not comfortable.
This involves recognizing that abilities and wisdom can be developed through effort and perseverance. By embracing challenges and persisting in the face of adversity, individuals can achieve remarkable things.
Be the 10%
The 10% of us are those who approach life with a solution-oriented attitude. They acknowledge the challenges before them but do not let these challenges define their journey. Instead of fixating on what could go wrong, they channel their energy into finding ways to overcome obstacles. This approach sets them apart, allowing them to navigate through difficulties.
Life is not meant to be easy; it will always feel hard.
Being part of the 10% requires a shift in perspective. It means viewing obstacles as opportunities for growth and learning.
It’s never a failure or defeat; it’s always a lesson.
The 10% understand the importance of persistence. They are not easily discouraged by failures or delays. Failures are never enjoyable. Failures are never comfortable. They hurt. They hurt bad at times.
Life is not comfortable. It never was, it never will be. It does not matter who you are.
See opportunities where others see barriers, and let your determination lead the way to success, whatever success is for you. Go out of your comfort zone, because that’s where the growth is.
